Gloverall Announces its De Bonne Facture Collaboration

We have teamed up with quality French menswear brand, De Bonne Facture, to create two limited-edition versions of our iconic Monty coat.

The collaboration celebrates local heritage and craftsmanship, which is something that bonds both brands together. The collection has been meticulously crafted by local weavers using undyed natural materials from local breeds of sheep, to help support the environment, nature, and people.

Launching on 2nd October 2023, the collection includes two designs for men; one in Check made from a Shetland sheep wool fabric woven by the heritage Scottish mill Lovat, and the other in Dark Brown, made from a Noire du Velay sheep wool fabric woven by the regional artisan Le Passe Trame, in the South West of France.

Each coat has a unique texture because of the different fabrics used, however share the traditional features of the Monty coat, including wooden toggles, jute rope fastenings, and a cotton herringbone webbing interior.
