Gloverall Debuts its Collaboration with Cambridge Satchel
We have teamed up with quality British bag brand, Cambridge Satchel, to create a unique and contemporary collection of unisex ready-to-wear bags.
Launching on 18th August 2023, the exclusive range brings together Gloverall’s handcrafted check fabrics and duffle coat toggles and Cambridge Satchel’s timeless colours and buckle closures.
Made in England from 100% leather, the collection includes six of Cambridge Satchel’s classic styles, each complete with a top handle, magnetic closures, and a cross-body strap. Available in two core colours, Navy and Bay, the bags feature checked fabrics, made from a from a twisted worsted yarn, which coordinate perfectly with some of our outerwear pieces.
The collection includes The 15 Inch Batchel and The Mini, both of which feature the traditional double buckle fastenings of the classic British school bag (but with handy hidden magnet closures on The Mini), and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap.
Inspired by a bag discovered at an antiques fair, believed to date back to the 1930s, the collection will see the debut of The Bowls Bag, which features a unique cylindrical shape and nickel feet to stop the bag from rolling.
The collection also includes The Messenger Backpack and The Messenger Bag, both of which are complete with two classic Gloverall horn toggles and loop closures.
